Heavenly plans on operating 4 lifts today. They have a base of 18"

Mammoth Mountain 12 lifts in operation with a base of 15 to 51"

Mt. Rose 2 lifts in operation with a base of 5 to 10".

It is early season skiing there are obstacles both natural and man made. Be aware ride and ski with care.

Update of open Ski Areas

Boreal has a 6 to 12" base of mostly Machine Made Snow, operating 1 lift. More snow will be made as conditions permit.

Mammoth Mountain a 12 to 48" base, a combination of natural snow and Machine Made. They are operating 6 lifts.

Mt. Rose a 6 to 9" base with 2 lifts in operation.

It's early season conditions there are bare spots, thin sport, obstacles both natural and man made. Be aware ride and ski with care!

Third Sierra Ski Area added today

The following Ski Areas are open with limited operations. Surface Conditions should be firm pack, machine groomed mixed snow of Natural and Machine Made Snow.

It is early season skiing there are thin spots, bare spots, and obstacles, both man made and natural.

We ask you to be aware and ride and ski with care.

Boreal is planning on operating one chair lift for day skiing only. Boreals base depth is 14 to 19".

Mammoth Mountain will operate 5 lifts with a base depth of 12 to 48".

Mt Rose opens for the season today with one chair lift and the Flying Jenny. They will operate Thursday through Sunday until they receive more snow.

Great early season skiing

Squaw Valley USA is planning on opening on Saturday November 22, conditions permitting.

Mammoth Mountain 4 lifts in operation for today.

Boreal 2 lifts in operation along with limited tubing available.

Surface conditions are combined Machine Made Snow and Natural snow, it is early season skiing, there are obsticles both marked and unmarked. Be aware ride and ski with care.

Current open Ski Areas

Mammoth Mountain is in operation with 4 lifts offering top to bottom skiing. Base Depth 8 to 14".

Boreal 1 lift in operation. Base Depth of 12 to 18"

Surface Conditions: Machine Groomed to Hard Pack, with some fresh Machine Made snow on top.

All Ski Areas with Snow Making will have there systems running when ever possible.

All operations are subject to wind weather and snow safety. It is early season skiing, there are obstacles both marked and unmarked. Be aware ride and ski with care.
