UPDATE FOR SUNDAY JANUARY 6th.

SQUAW VALLEY USA at Elevation 6200 has the Cable Car, Funitel plus 10 lifts in operation, while Elevation 8200 has 8 lifts. A storm total of 46 to 68” of new snow.

BOREAL on hold, they received a total of 68” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 3 lifts on wind hold. They received total of 50 to 56” of new snow from the storm.

KIRKWOOD has 3 lifts scheduled, and 3 with late starts. Cross Country Area to be announced. A storm total of 96 to 132”. Kirkwood’s 35th Anniversary Celebration Weekend this Saturday and Sunday.

MT.ROSE 3 lifts scheduled for today with a storm total of 5 to 6”

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN received a storm total of 5 to 7’ of new snow. They plan on 18 lifts.

SIERRA @ TAHOE 7 lifts going today. They received 42” of new snow in the last 24 hours.

SUGAR BOWL 5 lifts access via Mt. Juda Base Lodge. A storm total of 42 to 62” of new snow.

HEAVENLY 10 lifts in California, Nevada Side has 2 lifts. They received a total of new snow of 64 to 96”.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 6 lifts in operation today, with 2 on hold. A storm total of 35 to 55” of new snow.

DIAMOND PEAK lift operation today will be 4. They received 1 to 3” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS is on hold, they received 68” of snow from the storm.

NORTHSTAR @TAHOE Lift operation today will be 13. They received 51 to 63” of new snow from the storm.

TAHOE DONNER they received 18 to 24” of new snow; there will be 3 lift in operation, cross country has 7 trails with 7 KM of groomed track.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:30 AM and is subject to change. A temperature range this morning from the mid teen’s to the mid 20’s, overcast skies, snowing at most areas. Winds are 10 to 25 MPH with higher gusts.
