ALPINE MEADOWS snowing with 3 to 5” of fresh snow. They should operate 7 lifts today. The base winds were 27 MPH, upon top 63 MPH with higher gusts. .

MAMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts in operation. The winds were 30 to 35 MPH with higher gusts.

SUGAR BOWL has scheduled the Gondola and 8 lifts. It was partly Cloudy 4 to 17 MPH winds with higher gusts, with fresh snow of 3”.

HEAVENLY on the California side the Gondola, Cable Car and 10 lifts; on the Nevada side 14 lifts. They received 1” of fresh snow, 15 degrees with partly cloudy skies.

KIRKWOOD 12 lifts are scheduled today; cross country has 80 K of track. They did receive 3 to 5”of new snow, clear skies with winds to 18 MPH.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 6 lifts for day skiing and 2 for night skiing tonight. They did receive 2 to 4” of new snow, snowing with calm wind.

SODA SPRINGS closed Tuesday and Wednesdays.

MT ROSE closed today due to high winds.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE there should be 16 lifts operating today; Cross Country has 18 Trails with 38 K of Track. Northstar did receive a trace of new snow; it was cloudy with winds 5 to 15 MPH.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 8 lifts planned for today, with partly cloudy skies; the winds were 5 to 20 MPH.

TAHOE DONNER has 5 lifts scheduled for today, XC 50 trails with 102 K of track. Tahoe Donner did 2 to 3” of new snow calm winds and cloudy sky.

DIAMOND PEAK has 4 lifts in operation. Winds at Diamond Peak were 25 MPH.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN should operate 6 lifts today. Early morning winds were 6 to 18 MPH.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE TEMPRATURE RANGED FROM THE IN MID 20’S TO THE LOW 30’S; THE SKY WAS PARTLY CLOUDY TO CLOUDY. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS WERE AT AREAS THAT RECEIVED NEW SNOW WILL HAVE SOME POWDER, MG, TILLED GRANULAR SNOW, SKIER AND RIDER FIRM PACKED POWDER, SOME ICEY SPOTS.
