The Mountain Collective Resorts Join to Auction Off the Truly Ultimate Vacation Package to Benefit the Shane McConkey Foundation
[Olympic Valley, Calif.] March 18, 2013 - The leadership of mountain resorts represented in the new Mountain Collective pass have joined forces to auction off the Truly Ultimate Vacation package, with all proceeds benefitting the Shane McConkey Foundation in conjunction with the 2013 Pain McShlonkey Classic on March 30. The Truly Ultimate Vacation Package includes private air transportation, premier accommodations, lift tickets, and ground transportation for four people to all six of the Mountain Collective destinations: AltaSnowbird, Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole, Mammoth Mountain, Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadows and Whistler Blackcomb.

The Shane McConkey Foundation honors those who inspire positive change in the world and the life of others. He was an innovator, a goofball, a friend, a husband and a father, but his zest for life carried into his deep appreciation for the environment and living creatures. The Pain McShlonkey Classic is the primary fundraiser for the Shane McConkey Foundation. This year’s event will benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Tahoe Truckee Unified School District’s environmental education programs.

The top three online bids for the Truly Ultimate Vacation package will earn the right to enter the final live auction taking place at the McConkey Gala on March 30. The three finalists will be patched into the live auction emceed by Roy Tuscany of High Fives Non-Profit Foundation.
