More fresh heavy snow

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 will operate the Cable Car, Funitel plus 6 lifts. El 8200 has 11 lifts. Night Skiing with the Cable Car and 2 lifts, the Mountain run is open; they received 6 to 8” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 7 lifts for today. Alpine received 2 to 7” of new snow.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 11 lifts; the X/C area has 65K of M/G track, with 2 to 4” of new snow.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN received 13” of new snow, now lift shown this morning, call for an update. .

JUNE MOUNTAIN received 6” of new snow, no lift information call before you go.

SUGAR BOWL will operate the Gondola and 9 lifts. They received 1 to 5” of new snow.

HEAVENLY they will operate The Gondola and Tram on the California side along with 8 lifts. The Nevada side has 11 lifts. Heavenly received 4 to 5” of new snow.

BOREAL should operate 8 lifts for day skiing, 2 for night skiing tonight, they received 3 to 6” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS is operating 5 lifts plus the mini snowmobiles for today. New snow was 3 to 6”

MT ROSE 6 lifts in operation for today; the Chuter is closed due to lack of snow at the bottom. They received 4 to 5” of new snow

NORTHSTAR has 3” of new snow; 15 lifts in operation; cross country has 30 K of Machine Groomed track open.

SIERRA AT TAHOE they are planning on 6 lifts today. They received 3 to 6” of new snow.

TAHOE DONNER received 3” of new snow; operating 3 lift in today, Cross Country 41 trails with 80 K of machine groomed track.

DIAMOND PEAK 4 lifts scheduled for today. They did receive 6” of new snow; it was raining early this morning.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT closed today due to the weather.

ROYAL GORGE X/C no report this morning call before you go.

DONNER SKI RANCH no report this morning call before you go.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions machine groomed heavy wet snow due to rain; areas with snow making will make snow when they can. There are obstacles both marked and unmarked. We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures are in the low 30’s to mid 30’s; the winds were light, the sky mostly cloudy to cloudy with mixed rain and snow. New snow fall was in the last 24 hours.
