BIG POWDER DAY, TAKE YOUR FATBOYS

SQUAW VALLEY USA lift operations at EL 6200 the Tram, Funitel and 9 lifts, at EL 8200 11 lifts; they received 9 to 18” of fresh powder.

ALPINE MEADOWS 8 lifts scheduled this morning. It was snowing; they have received 18 to 26” of fresh powder.

KIRKWOOD 13 lifts scheduled for today the Cross Country and Snowshoe Center will be open today with 70 K/M. Kirkwood did receive 20 to 30” of new snow.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts scheduled for today. Mammoth Mountain did receive 20” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL lifts operating today the Gondola plus 8. They received 15 to 21” of fresh powder.

HEAVENLY 28 lifts scheduled for today. They received 1” of new snow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT lifts scheduled 5 for day skiing. Boreal received 17 to 25” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS 5 lifts in operation for today. Soda Springs received 15 to 25” of new snow.

MT.ROSE 4 chairs lifts 1 surface lift. Mt Rose did receive 15 to 19” of fresh powder.

NORTHSTAR is open with 18 lifts in operation; the Cross Country Center is open with 38 K/M of track. They received 17 to 23” of fresh snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE no report this morning.

TAHOE DONNER should operate 3 lifts; XC grooming on going this morning. They received 17 to 25” of fresh snow.

DIAMOND PEAK will operate 4 lifts today, with 5” of fresh powder.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 6 lifts in operation. Homewood received 19 to 26” of new snow.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AND 6:00 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE TEMPRATURES RANGE FROM MID TEENS TO THE MID 20’S. THE WINDS WERE 0 TO 25 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS; THE SKY WAS SNOWING AT SOME OF THE AREAS AND PARTLY CLOUDY AT OTHERS.SURFACE CONDITIONS WERE POWDER. THE RUNS ARE M/G GROOMED AND TILLED.
