Spring is here, however it is still snowing, fresh snow in the mountains.

SQUAW VALLEY USA lift operation the Cable Care, Funitel and 3 lifts at Elevation 6200, and at Elevation 8200 their should be 8 lifts. Squaw Valley did receive 5 to 7” of new snow and it was still snowing.

ALPINE MEADOWS Open Friday thru Sunday only with 3 chairs thru April 25th. April 30, May l, 2, 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16 with Summit chair only from 9 AM until 2 PM, they will close for the season May 16.

KIRKWOOD 5 lifts scheduled for today; new snow fall 2 to 4”. They will close for the season on April 25th.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 10 lifts scheduled for today. Mammouth did receive 7” of fresh snow.

SUGAR BOWL 7 lifts scheduled for today; Sugar Bowl did receive 7 to 9” of new snow and it was still snowing.

HEAVENLY should operate 3 lifts today. Access will be on the California side only via the gondola. Heavenly did receive 15” of new snow, and it was still snowing.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AND 6:00 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. THE TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE MID 20’s TO LOW 30’S. THE WINDS WERE 0 TO 10 MPH WITH SOME HIGHER GUSTS; THE SKY CLOUDY WITH SNOW SHOWERS. SURFACE CONDITIONS WERE FRESH SNOW OVER SPRING CONDITIONS FIRM IN THE MORNING SOFTENING WITH ADVANCING TEMPRATURES; FOR THE BEST SKIING FOLLOW THE SUN. THE MAIN RUNS ARE M/G GROOMED AND TILLED. ALL OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED, WE ASK YOU TO PLEASE BE AWARE RIDE AND SKI WITH CARE.
