SQUAW VALLEY TO HOST
THE RIDE & SLIDE CANCER SURVIVORS' FUN DAY

[Squaw Valley USA] April 3, 2010 – Sunday, April 11, Squaw Valley USA is hosting the Ride & Slide Cancer Survivors' Fun Day. Cancer survivors and their friends and families are invited to come enjoy the mountain and hone their skiing and riding skills in free group lessons. The day costs $29 and includes lift tickets, rental equipment and two-hour group lessons at High Camp, el. 8,200’. Pre-registration is required and participants can sign up at the Adult Snowsports School or call (530) 452-7263. All proceeds benefit the Tahoe Forest Hospital Foundation.

The lessons will begin at High Camp starting at 11am. High Camp is Squaw Valley’s spectacular mountaintop beginner area featuring wide open green runs and beautiful views of Lake Tahoe. Squaw Valley’s Ski School instructors will cater to each student’s level and skiing and riding goals so that each may enjoy all that the mountain has to offer.

Following a great day on the mountain, Ride & Slide Cancer Survivors' Fun Day participants can head to the Après Ski Party at Bar One in Squaw Valley’s Olympic House. The event is a great opportunity to make new friends and enjoy an incredible day at Squaw Valley USA.
