SQUAW VALLEY did receive a trace of new snow, operation for today include at EL 6200 the Tram, Funitel and 6 lifts, along with 3 kids lifts. EL 8200 is open with 1 lift, dinning, shopping and Ice Skating.

ALPINE MEADOWS did receive 7 to 10” of fresh snow. They are planning on 4 lifts in operation. They now have one park open.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN with 18 lifts on hold for today, call for an update. Four parks and their Olympic size 1/2 pipe in operation. They do have top to bottom skiing. Mammouth did receive 17” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL should have gondola and 6 lifts in operation. They did receive 10” of new snow.

HEAVENLY California Base lodge now offers the Tram, Gondola and 10 lifts operating on the Nevada side 12 lifts. They have received 6 to 8” of new snow.

KIRKWOOD did receive 8” of fresh snow; they should operate 6 lifts today. The cross country center is open with 5K in the meadow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 4 lifts for day and 2 for night skiing. They received 6” o 8” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS will operate 5 lifts for today; they did receive 6 to 8” of new snow.

MT ROSE has scheduled 3 lifts for today. Children’s programs for the weekend are cancelled.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE is operating 1 park, their super pipe is closed today, 16 lifts in operation, the Ice Rink is open from 12 noon to 8 PM, Cross Country and Telemark Center are open on a limited basis. Northstar did receive 7 to 12” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 6 chair lifts running today. They did receive 10” of fresh snow.

TAHOE DONNER is closed due to the weather.

DIAMOND PEAK did receive 14” of new snow, they have top to bottom skiing with 5 lifts in operation.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT received 5 to 8” of fresh snow they are planning on operating 2 surface lifts at the bottom.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS CLOUDY WITH SNOW. TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE HIGH TEENS TO THE LOW 30’S; WINDS MODERATE 15 MPH TO 25 MPH WINDS ON THE PEAKS AND RIDGES TO 40 MPH WITH HIGHER GUSTS. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS VERIABLE WITH FRESH SNOW ON TOP, ON GOING SNOW MAKING, GROOMED RUNS, STAY IN AREAS WHERE SNOW IS MADE IT IS EARLY SEASON CONDITIONS THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED.
