SQUAW VALLEY did receive 4 to 8” of new snow, operation for today include at EL 6200 the Tram, Funitel and 6 lifts, along with 3 kids lifts. EL 8200 is open with 6 lifts, dinning, shopping and Ice Skating.

ALPINE MEADOWS did receive 4 to 7” of fresh snow. They are planning on 7 lifts in operation. They now have one park open.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN with 25 lifts scheduled for today. Four parks and their Olympic size 1/2 pipe in operation. They do have top to bottom skiing. Mammouth did receive 9” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL should have 7 lifts in operation. They did receive 5 to 7” of new snow.

HEAVENLY California Base lodge now offers the Tram, Gondola and 9 lifts operating on the Nevada side 9 lifts.

KIRKWOOD did receive 18 to 24” of fresh snow; they should operate 5 lifts today. The cross country center is open with 5K in the meadow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 4 lifts for day and 2 for night skiing. They received 6” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS will operate 5 lifts for today; they did receive 6” of new snow.

MT ROSE has scheduled 5 lifts for today.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE is operating 1 park, their super pipe is open today, 15 lifts in operation, the Ice Rink is open from 12 noon to 8 PM, Cross Country and Telemark Center are open on a limited basis. Northstar did receive 6 to 8” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 7 chair lifts running today. They did receive 4” of fresh snow.

TAHOE DONNER has reopened with 4 lifts; the XC area is also open today.

DIAMOND PEAK they have top to bottom skiing with 5 lifts in operation.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT open on Friday thru Sunday only.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS CLOUDY TO PARTLY CLOUDY. TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE HIGH TEENS TO THE LOW 30’S; WINDS MODERATE 5 MPH TO 25 MPH WINDS ON THE PEAKS AND RIDGES HAVE HIGHER GUSTS. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS FRESH POWDER, MACHINE GROOMED, ON GOING SNOW MAKING. THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED. IF YOU GO OUT OF BOUNDS, THERE IS AN EXTREAM AVALANCH DANGER, HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT WITH YOU. WE ASK YOU TO BE AWARE RIDE AND SKI WITH CARE.
