Starting at $429 for an adult Bronze pass and $749 for an unlimited Gold pass, the 2012-13 Tahoe Super Pass offers unrivaled beginner, intermediate and expert terrain across 6,000 skiable acres, 43 lifts, 270+ trails and ten terrain parks at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows. Prices are only guaranteed through midnight on November 5.

With three feet of snow that has already fallen, the 2012-13 winter season is off to a phenomenal start. Squaw Valley is slated to open Wednesday, November 21 and Alpine Meadows is schedule to open Friday, December 7.

In addition to the season passes available for adults, children, youth and seniors – Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows have launched their first ever unrestricted college pass. The College Tahoe Super Pass is available for $389 and is Lake Tahoe’s only dual mountain college season pass with no blackout dates.

The combination of these two resorts, which are located just 10 minutes apart via the Squaw Alpine Express shuttle, offers a mountain experience like none other in California. Even better, those who purchase a Gold pass will receive 50 percent off lift tickets all season long at Squaw and Alpine’s sister Mountain Collective resorts: Aspen/Snowmass, Jackson Hole and Alta.

The 2012-13 winter season also brings $24 million in improvements to the resorts, including three new chairlifts at Squaw Valley, Tahoe’s only mile-long terrain park at Alpine Meadows and vastly improved snowmaking systems at both resorts. The investments are part of year two of The Renaissance, a five-year and $70 million capital improvement plan to enhance every aspect of the guest experience at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows.

The following is the adult pricing for the 2012-13 season pass, guaranteed only through November 5.

GOLD - $749
Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ Gold pass is the most ‘bang for your buck’ with absolutely no blackout dates. With a Gold pass, skiers and riders get the most pass benefits and can take full advantage of Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ legendary terrain every day of the winter season. No restrictions.

SILVER - $519
Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ Silver pass is ideal for those looking to ski weekends but willing to pass up the three major holiday periods in exchange for great savings. Pass not valid during select holiday dates.*

BRONZE - $429
With only 16 blackout dates total, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ most inexpensive pass is an incredible deal for those willing to do without a handful of peak days. Pass not valid during select holiday dates and Saturdays in January and February**

COLLEGE - $389

News this season, the College Tahoe Super Pass is valid every single day of the 2012/13 winter season, and is Lake Tahoe’s only dual mountain college season pass with no blackout dates. The College Pass is available to all full-time college students and graduate students (12 credits or more) at accredited colleges and universities.

YOUNG ADULT
Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ young adult rates are available for ages 13-22, the largest young adult age range in the Tahoe region. Young adult rates are as follows: Gold - $569; Silver - $389; Bronze- $319.

Season Pass Insurance:
Season passholders have the option to purchase insurance in the event of an unexpected situation such as an injury or job loss. Pass insurance is $30 for adults, young adults, college students and seniors. Children and super senior rates are $15.
