Homewood to open for Thanksgiving
weekend celebration Nov. 23-25 with skiing, snowboarding, snow play and
shopping
With snow on the ground and in the
forecast, Homewood Mountain Resort is thrilled to announce that it will open on
"White Friday," Nov. 23 through Sunday, Nov. 25 for a special Thanksgiving
holiday weekend of skiing, snowboarding, sledding and shopping.
Current
plans call for operations on Homewood’s beginner area above the North Lodge, as
well as additional terrain if weather and conditions permit. Beginner lift
tickets for the holiday weekend will cost just $35, while all-mountain tickets
will be $59.
Homewood’s team has been busy preparing the resort to ensure
that the base area will provide an excellent surface for beginners and those
looking to sharpen rusty skills after a summer away from the slopes. And
Homewood’s terrain park crew is planning for a holiday weekend terrain park
option for freestyle skiers and riders above the beginner
terrain.
Homewood will offer its full-service rental shop, ski and
snowboard beginner lesson programs, as well as the North Lodge cafeteria and bar
– with all the Thanksgiving weekend football games on TV – for the weekend
celebration.

season pass, or buy one!
