SQUAW VALLEY USA EL 6200 has the Cable Car, Funitel 5 lifts operating. EL 8200 has 11 lifts. Squaw Valley and Jonny Moseley host 2009 Sprint US Freestyle Championships starting March 26 thru the 29th.
ALPINE MEADOWS is operating 7 lifts for today; they’ve received 2 to 4” of new snow. Upper Mountain winds were 61 MPH from the SW.
KIRKWOOD is planning on running 13 lifts; XC area is open with 75 K of groomed track.
MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts in operation.
JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts scheduled.
SUGAR BOWL will operate the Gondola plus 8 lifts.
HEAVENLY the Cable Car and Gondola plus 8 lifts on the California side, Nevada has 11 lifts.
BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT received a trace to 1” of new snow and should operate 5 lifts for day skiing and 2 for Night skiing.
SODA SPRINGS 4 lifts scheduled; they received a trace to 1” of new snow.
MT. ROSE 5 lifts in operation today; they’ve received a trace of new snow.
NORTHSTAR 17 lifts scheduled, X/C is open with 40K of track.
SIERRA AT TAHOE
TAHOE DONNER lift operation should be 3, and XC has 50 trails with 102 K of track set.
DIAMOND PEAK 4 lifts for today. Diamond Peak has received 1” of new snow.
HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 6 lifts, with light rain at the bottom.
ROYAL GORGE X 50 trails with 130 K of track set.
DONNER SKI RANCH plans on 6 lifts for today.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6 AM and is subject to change. The sky was cloudy to overcast with snow flurries in most areas; the temperatures in the mid 20’s to the low 30’s; the winds were strong 15 to 45 plus MPH. There were some higher gusts over the peaks and ridges.
