Abundant Snow and Epic Condtions Keep Squaw Open for Skiing & Riding through May 10, 2009
Squaw Valley USA reports latest ski resort closing date in Lake Tahoe

[Squaw Valley USA] April 20, 2009 – Squaw Valley USA is once again offering the longest ski season in Lake Tahoe, as the resort plans to stay open for skiing and riding through May 10, 2009. Squaw Valley’s annual snowfall of 450 inches and mountain topography featuring acres upon acres of upper elevation North-facing terrain are among the natural attributes that enable the resort to remain open through the middle of May each ski season. This year, Squaw Valley’s closing date comes one day prior to the resort’s May 11, 2009 deadline to purchase 2009-10 Season Passes at the 50/60 Anniversary discounted rate.
