Winter is back

SQUAW VALLEY USA EL 6200 has the Cable Car, Funitel 6 lifts operating. EL 8200 has 11 lifts they received 1 to 4” of new snow. The Billy Dutton Uphill is coming on April 12th.

ALPINE MEADOWS is operating 7 lifts for today, they have received 4 to 6” of new snow; the winds are 10 to 44 MPH WSW on top.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 12 lifts; XC area is open with 80K of track, new snow received was 6 to 8”.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts expected for today. The new snow fall was 3” of fresh powder.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts scheduled, it was 40 degrees early this morning.

SUGAR BOWL has received 3 to 6” of new snow they are planning on operating the Gondola along with 8 lifts scheduled for today.

HEAVENLY the Cable Car and Gondola plus 8 lifts on the California side, Nevada has 11 lifts. Heavenly did receive a trace to 1” of new snow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT should operate 4 lifts, with 4 to 5” of new snow. Boreal and Soda Springs will close for the season on Easter Sunday at 4 PM.

SODA SPRINGS 4 lifts scheduled. Soda received 4 to 5” of new snow.

MT. ROSE 6 lifts in operation today it was snow this morning with no new snow.

NORTHSTAR 12 lifts scheduled, X/C is open with 40K of groomed trails. They received 1 to 2” of fresh snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE did receive 2 to 3” of new snow today they are planning on 6 lifts for today.

TAHOE DONNER they will operate 3 lifts and XC is open with 46Trails with 889K of track. The Cross Country Area will close Sunday April the 12th. New snow fall of 1 to 3”.

DIAMOND PEAK 4 lifts running for today.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 5 lifts scheduled. They received 2 to 3” of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE 50 trails 110K of trails set. They will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday then open thru Easter Sunday and closing for the season.

DONNER SKI RANCH plans on 5 lifts for today, with 2 to 4” of new snow.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6 AM and is subject to change. The sky was cloudy to snowing; the temperatures in the mid teens to the high 20’s; the winds were 10 to 25 MPH with higher gusts over the peaks and ridges.
