Quick change in the weather winter is back

I am sorry if I caused any problems yesterday, the lack of posting was caused by illness.

SQUAW VALLEY USA EL 6200 has the Cable Car, Funitel 5 lifts operating. EL 8200 has 12 lifts. They received 1 to 2”of new snow. The Billy Dutton Uphill is coming on April 12th.

ALPINE MEADOWS is operating 7 lifts for today, with 1 to 2” of new snow.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 12 lifts; XC area is open with 80K of track, they received 1 to 2” of new snow.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts expected for today, with a trace of new snow.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts scheduled.

SUGAR BOWL Gondola along with 7 lifts scheduled for today, new snowfall of 2 to 5”.

HEAVENLY the Cable Car and Gondola plus 8 lifts on the California side, Nevada has 11 lifts. Heavenly received a trace to 1” of new snow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT should operate 5 lifts, new snow fall of 2 to 3”.

SODA SPRINGS 4 lifts scheduled. 2 to 3” of new snow fell in the last 24 hours.

MT. ROSE 7 lifts in operation today. Mt Rose received 2 to 3” of new snow.

NORTHSTAR 13 lifts scheduled, X/C is open with 40K of groomed trails. New snow fall of 2 to 3”.

SIERRA AT TAHOE no report today.

TAHOE DONNER they will operate 3 lifts and XC is open with 49Trails with 99K of track.

DIAMOND PEAK received 3” of new snow, with 4 lifts for today

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 5 lifts. No new snow at lake level however they received 1” on top.

ROYAL GORGE 50 trails 110K of trails set.

DONNER SKI RANCH plans on 5 lifts for today. Both have 2 to 3” of new snow.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6 AM and is subject to change. The sky was partly cloudy to clear; the temperatures in the 20’s; the winds were 0 to 15 MPH, with higher gusts over the peaks and ridges.
