SODA SPRINGS
MT. ROSE 2lifts in operation, average base of 12 to 24”, with 10 to 12”of fresh powder on top. The base weather was 12 degrees, winds 0 to 5 MPH on top winds 5 to 20 and snowing.
NORTHSTAR is open with 9 lifts in operation; weather this snowing temperature of 10 degrees the winds were calm. Northstar has a base depth of 18 to 23”, with 24” of fresh powder on top.
SIERRA AT TAHOE opens today with 5 lifts 6 to 10” base with 18” of fresh powder on top and still snowing, the winds were calm at the base, the temperature was 17.

SURFACE CONDITIONS WAS FRESH POWDER ON TOP OVER, M/G WITH A COMBINATION OF MAN MADE AND NATURAL SNOW, ALONG WITH SKIER AND RIDER PACKED OFF THE GROOMED RUNS. IT IS EARLY SEASON SKIING THERE ARE OBSTACLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED.
