SQUAW VALLEY EL 6200 today’s lift operation the CC plus 7 lifts; weather 33 degrees, winds were calm. Their average base depth is 12 to 18”. EL 8200 IS CLOSED FOR SKIING, however it is open for sightseeing, dining and Ice Skating.

ALPINE MEADOWS pens today with 2 lifts the weather this morning was at the base 22 degrees, clear and calm winds on top 39 MPH. A base of 11 to 16”.

KIRKWOOD opens today with 2 lifts, weather 28 degrees partly cloudy with winds 10 to 25 MPH.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN this morning’s weather was 30 degrees at the base with 15 to 25 MPH, They have a base of 32 to 40”. Lift operations today 8.

JUNE MOUNTAIN

SUGAR BOWL has a base of 15 to 18”; 2 lifts in operation, this mornings weather was 28 degrees with light winds, the sky was partly cloudy. Base of 15 to 18”.

HEAVENLY has an average base of 20 to 36”; there planning on operating the gondola plus 6 lifts with access thru the California Base Lodge only. Today’s weather was 12 degrees, possible snow today.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 3 lifts in operation for day skiing and 2 for night skiing; the weather was partly cloudy 24 degrees with light winds. Boreal’s base depth 12 to 26”.

SODA SPRINGS

MT. ROSE 2 lifts in operation, average base of 12 to 24”. The base weather was
36 degrees, winds 10 to 25 MPH with partly cloudy sky.

NORTHSTAR is open with 10 lifts in operation; weather this snow expected today temperature of 15 degrees the winds were 10 MPH. Northstar has a base depth of 18 to 20”.

SIERRA AT TAHOE opens today with 2 lifts 6 to 10” base 28 degrees clear and calm.

SURFACE CONDITIONS WERE M/G WITH A COMBINATION OF MAN MADE AND NATURAL SNOW, ALONG WITH SKIER AND RIDER PACKED OFF THE GROOMED RUNS. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF SOME HARDPACKED SNOW AND ICY SPOTS.
IT IS EARLY SEASON SKIING THERE ARE OBSTACLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED.
