SQUAW VALLEY USA is offering $35 lift tickets thru Friday December 5th. EL 6200 today’s lift operation the CC plus 4 lifts; weather 17 degrees, winds were calm. Their average base depth is 12 to 18”. EL 8200 IS CLOSED FOR SKIING, however it is open for sightseeing, dining and Ice Skating.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN this morning’s weather was 22 degrees at the base with 10 MPH, on top 19 degrees with winds 33 MPH. They have a base of 32 to 40”. Their lift operations were missing today.
JUNE MOUNTAIN
SUGAR BOWL has a base of 15 to 18”; closed today thru Friday December 5th.
HEAVENLY has an average base of 20 to 26”; there planning on operating the gondola plus 6 lifts with access thru the California Base Lodge only. Today’s weather was 25 degrees, clear with light winds.
BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 3 lifts in operation for day skiing and 2 for night skiing; the weather was sunny 21 degrees with winds 1 MPH. Boreal’s base depth 12 to 26”.
SODA SPRINGS
MT. ROSE 2 lifts in operation, average base of 12 to 24”. The base weather was
36 degrees, winds 0 to 10 MPH with clear sky.
NORTHSTAR is open with 6 lifts in operation; weather this morning was clear with calm wind a temperature of 16 degrees. Northstar has a base depth of 18 to 20”.
SIERRA AT TAHOE will open for the season on Saturday December 5th, with reduced lift tickets.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AND 6:00 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE.
SURFACE CONDITIONS WERE M/G WITH A COMBINATION OF MAN MADE AND NATURAL SNOW, ALONG WITH SKIER AND RIDER PACKED OFF THE GROOMED RUNS. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF SOME HARDPACKED SNOW AND ICY SPOTS.
IT IS EARLY SEASON SKIING THERE ARE OBSTACLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED.
