SQUAW VALLEY USA ANNOUNCES 2010/11 SEASON PASS PRICING

Lake Tahe's #1 ranked resort offers $369 adult season passes for second year in a row
- with option to add this spring for just $129
[Squaw Valley USA] March 15, 2010 – Lake Tahoe’s top-ranked ski resort announced today that it will again offer incredibly discounted season passes for the upcoming winter season. Last season, Squaw Valley USA slashed season pass prices by $1000 for the 50/60 anniversary season, and this year, they are doing it again.

“This year we got a lot of returning passholders who hadn’t had passes to Squaw for some time,” said Ivan McGurk, Squaw’s Ticket Administration Manager. “It was great to see them on the hill and we hope to see them back next year.”

Squaw Valley USA is offering reloadable passes in keeping with their sustainability goals and to offer greater customer convenience. Current Squaw season passholders wishing to purchase a 2010-11 pass online can reload their 2009-10 pass with zero hassle. Those purchasing a Silver pass or higher prior to May 9 will also receive free Cable Car access for Summer 2010.

2010-11 Squaw season passholders will also have the opportunity to purchase Five Circles Club down jackets as part of belonging to Squaw Valley’s exclusive passholder club. These one of a kind jackets are available only to Squaw season passholders and they can be purchased during online ticket checkout or through Squaw’s retail stores.

Skiers and riders who wish to ride Squaw this spring can purchase any 2010-11 Squaw season pass and add Spring 2010 for just $129. By adding Spring 2010 to next year’s pass, new passholders will enjoy Tahoe’s longest season and incredible spring skiing and riding at Squaw Valley. Widely known as the Nation's Spring Skiing Capital, Squaw Valley opens the High Camp Lagoon and Spa March 20, 2010 bringing a wide array of events and pool parties to the upper mountain.

Squaw Valley USA offers the highest uphill capacity of any resort in North America, served by 33 lifts and the most expansive and convenient parking of any area Tahoe resort. From the main public parking lot, preferred parking lot or valet parking, guests can be on the lifts in a matter of moments from the time they park their vehicle – even on peak weekends and holidays. To preserve the coveted Squaw Valley USA mountain experience, only a limited number of 2010-2011 season passes are available at the initial discounted rate.

Purchasing Online
Squaw season passes can be purchased online at www.squaw.com beginning at Midnight (PST) on Monday, March 15, 2010. Purchasers can fill-out all paperwork and payment information online.

Purchasing By Mail
Purchasers may fill out the season pass form, include method of payment and return to us by mail according to instructions on the form. Pass forms must be postmarked May 9, 2010 by the USPS for the early season price guarantee.

Purchasing in Person at Squaw Valley USA
Squaw season passes pass can be purchased in person by visiting the Squaw Valley Season Pass office; this must be done by end of the business day on May 9, 2010 to guarantee this low price.

All new 2010-11 Squaw season passholders will receive a confirmation receipt at time of purchase, and can pick-up their 2010-11 season pass at the Squaw Season Pass Office beginning June 20, 2010. Returning passholders who reload their passes online can go directly to the lifts.

The deadline for this pricing is May 9, 2010 at midnight (for online purchases) or at close of business in the Season Pass Office (3 pm). After that time, the 2010-11 pass prices will increase.
