With the most vertical of any bike park in Tahoe, Squaw Valley will offer a downhill trail with freeride elements and cross-country trails. Bikers can ride Squaw’s scenic Cable Car to access the terrain by purchasing a day bike ticket. Mountain biking is slated to open mid to late summer depending on snow melt conditions.

To accommodate bikers, Squaw Valley is also opening a new bike rental shop at the base of the mountain. Starting June 12, the shop will rent downhill bikes and trail bikes as well as comfort cruisers for use on the renowned Truckee River Bike Path. Safety gear, attachable trail-a-bikes and trailers for children will also be available for rent.
