Fresh Snow for the Weekend Snow Report for 4/12/2012 11:00:20 AM BEN! Man oh man, what a weekend it is going to be! As another storm starts to hit the Sierra we could have over a foot of new snow for the weekend. We couldn't think of a better way to say farewell to the 2011-12 Season. This morning there was an inch on the upper mountain and the flakes are still falling. Snow showers are expected to continue through Saturday morning with the following accumulations: Thursday 1-3 inches, Thursday night 3-7 inches, Friday 4-8 inches, Friday night 1-3 inches. The weather will start to clear up for Saturday and Sunday with a 30% chance of snow Saturday and blue bird skies for Sunday. This is the last weekend to enjoy skiing and riding at June, so if you haven't made it up yet throw the chains and your powder skis in the car because this will be a closer to remember.
