The higher areas have better snow, lower areas have mixed rain and snow.

SQUAW VALLEY scheduled the Tram, Funitel, 4 chair lifts, 4 surface lifts at EL 6200, at EL 8200 10 lifts, they have 4 Parks, Ice Skating, Fine Dinning and shopping also available.

ALPINE MEADOWS has 9 lifts planned for today along with 2 parks. They have received 15 to 21” of fresh snow.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN with 24 lifts scheduled for today. Four parks, 2 1/2 pipes in operation. Mammouth has received 2” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL should have 8 lifts in operation; they have 3 parks open. Sugar Bowl did receive 20” of new powder.

HEAVENLY will operate 25 out of 30 lifts on both the California Side and the Nevada Side, along with 5 parks available. They did receive 2” of fresh snow.

KIRKWOOD should operate 8 lifts, with 3 parks, half pipe is available. The cross country center is open with 50 K. they did receive 5 to 8” of fresh snow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT is planning to have 3 lifts for day and 2 for night skiing. Boreal did receive 20 to 24” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

MT ROSE plans on 4 lifts plus the Chuter which is on hold. They have received 3 to 4” of new snow.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE is operating 6 parks, their super pipe is open, 14 lifts in operation, the Ice Rink is open from 12 noon to 8 PM, and the Cross Country and Telemark Center are open with 86 trails. They have received 8 to 14” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 6 lifts running today, along with 4 parks. They have received 10” of fresh snow.

TAHOE DONNER 2 lifts scheduled one park is available; the XC area is open with 18 trails with 61k of track. They did receive 1 to 2” of new snow.

DIAMOND PEAK is planning on 5 lifts in operation, and 1 park. They did receive 1 to 2” of fresh snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT is open with 5 lifts, with 2 parks. They did receive 1” of fresh snow.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS CLOUDY WITH SNOW POSSIBLE. TODAYS TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE MID 20’s TO THE MID 30S. THE WINDS 15 MPH TO 55 MPH WINDS, THE PEAKS AND RIDGES HAVE MUCH HIGHER GUSTS. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS SKIER PACKED POWDER, MACHINE GROOMED WITH SOME HEAVY FRESH SNOW ON TOP. IF YOU GO OUT OF BOUNDS, THERE IS AN AVALANCH DANGER, HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT WITH YOU.
