IT SHOULD BE A PERFECT DAY FOR SKIING

STAY WITHIN SKI AREA BOUNDRIES DUE TO EXTREAM AVALANCH DANGER!

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 should operate the Cable Car, Funitel plus 11 lifts, with 4 to 6” of new snow. El 8200 has 11 lifts received 5 to 7” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 16 to 22” of new snow, 8 lifts for today.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 11 lifts they received 20 to 26” of fresh powder, the X/C area has 14K of M/G track with 10K for snowshoes only. .

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN is planning on 25 lifts for today. They received 13” of new snow.

JUNE MOUNTAIN plans on operating 5 lifts. They did receive 5” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL lift operation today should be 8 lifts plus the gondola for additional access. They received 10 to 14” of fresh powder.

HEAVENLY will operate The Gondola and tram on the California side along with 9 lifts. The Nevada side has 8 lifts in Nevada. Access will be thru the California Base Lodge and Stage Coach on the Nevada side.

BOREAL should operate 8 lifts for day skiing, 3 for night skiing tonight. Boreal has received 12 to 16” of new snow.

MT ROSE 6 lifts in operation, they received 1 to 2” of new snow overnight.

NORTHSTAR 14 lifts in operation, they received 8” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE received 8” of new snow, with 7 lifts in operation today.

TAHOE DONNER received 12 to 16” of new snow. Operating 3 lift in today, Cross Country 23 trails with 41 K of track with on going grooming.

SODA SPRINGS will operate 2 lifts today, with a new snow fall of 13 to 16”.

DIAMOND PEAK 5 lifts with 16” of new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 16” of new snow, they plan on 6 lifts.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions powder, machine groomed, and skier pack snow. We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures are in the mid single digits to mid teens, the winds were 0 to 15 MPH with higher gusts over the peaks and ridges, with clearing to clear skies.
