POWDER HOUNDS DELIGHT

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 the Cable Car, Funitel plus 10lifts, with 8 to 10” of new snow. El 8200 has 9 lifts received 10 to12” of new snow. Christmas Eve brings a torch light parade at 630 PM.

ALPINE MEADOWS 13 to 18” of new snow, 7 lifts for today.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 3 lifts they received 10 to 12” of fresh powder, the X/C area has 10K of M/G track with 10K for snowshoes only. .

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN is planning on 21 lifts for today. They received 14” of new snow..

JUNE MOUNTAIN plans on operating 5 lifts, their base is 6 to 24”.

SUGAR BOWL lift operation today should be 6 lifts plus the gondola for additional access. They received 8 to 14” of fresh powder.

HEAVENLY will operate The Gondola and tram ion the California side along with 8 lifts. The Nevada side has 7 lifts in Nevada. Access will be thru the California Base Lodge and Stage Coach on the Nevada side. They received 16 to 24” of new snow in the last 24 hours.

BOREAL 7 lifts in operation for day skiing, 2 until 9 PM tonight. Boreal has received 12 to 14” of new snow.

MT ROSE 6 lifts in operation , Mt Rose received 7 to 10” of new snow.

NORTHSTAR 8” of new snow, they are planning to operate 14 lifts. X/C has 20 K of M/G track.

SIERRA AT TAHOE received 13 to 23” of new snow, with 7 lifts in operation today.

TAHOE DONNER received 12 to 14” of new snow . Operating 3 lift in today, Cross Country 21 trails with 41 K of track with on going grooming.

SODA SPRINGS will operate 2 lifts today. A new snow fall of 12 to 14”of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE X COUNTRY

DIAMOND PEAK 3 lifts with 6” of new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT Will open for the season December 24th.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions powder, machine groomed, and skier pack snow. . It is early season skiing there are obstacles both manmade and natural, we ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures are in the mid teens the winds were 0 to 15 MPH with higher gusts over the peaks and ridges, snowing everywhere.
