NEW SNOW IN THE MOUNTAINS

Alpine Meadows 1 lift in operation, a base of 18" avarage with 2 to 4" of new snow.

Boreal 3 lifts for day skiing 2 for night. 18 to 24" base with 2 to 4" of new snow.

Heavenly extreamly high winds all lifts on wind hold.

Mt Rose 2 lifts 10 to 14" base with 1 to 2" of new snow.

Northstar 6 lifts 2 to 3" of new snow over a 3 to 8"base.

Squaw Valley 1" of new snow over 12 to 16" base, 6 lifts in operation.

Sugar Bowl 1 lift 6 to 12" base with 2 to 4" of new snow.

The weather today, is a mixed bag, from partly cloudy to overcast with snow showers. The winds are 15 to 45 MPH with higher gusts, depending on where you are.

Surface conditions machine groomed with fresh snow on top, the base is a combination of machine made and natural snow. It is early season skiing,there are obstacles both man made and natural. Be aware ride and ski with care.
