MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ONE AND ALL

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 should operate the Cable Car, Funitel plus 11 lifts, with 10 to 14” of new snow. El 8200 has 10 lifts received 18 to 22” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 28” of new snow, 7 lifts for today.

KIRKWOOD is planning on running 7 lifts they received 20 to 22” of fresh powder, the X/C area has 14K of M/G track with 10K for snowshoes only. .

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN is planning on 24 lifts for today. They received 11” of new snow. The winds were 30 to 40 MPH with gusts to 65 MPH.

JUNE MOUNTAIN plans on operating 5 lifts.

SUGAR BOWL lift operation today should be 8 lifts plus the gondola for additional access. They received 11 to 14” of fresh powder.

HEAVENLY will operate The Gondola and tram on the California side along with 9 lifts. The Nevada side has 7 lifts in Nevada. Access will be thru the California Base Lodge and Stage Coach on the Nevada side. They received 12” of new snow in the last 24 hours.

BOREAL 7 should operate 7 lifts for day skiing, 2 for night skiing tonight. Boreal has received 12 to 14” of new snow.

MT ROSE 6 lifts in operation, they received 20 top 24” of new snow.

NORTHSTAR

SIERRA AT TAHOE received 18 to 12” of new snow, with 7 lifts in operation today.

TAHOE DONNER received 12 to 14” of new snow. Operating 3 lift in today, Cross Country 23 trails with 41 K of track with on going grooming.

SODA SPRINGS will operate 2 lifts today, with a new snow fall of 12 to 14”.

ROYAL GORGE X COUNTRY

DIAMOND PEAK 5 lifts with 16” of heavy new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT 3” of new snow, they plan on 5 lifts.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions powder, machine groomed, and skier pack snow. There are obstacles both manmade and natural, we ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures are in the mid teens to mid 20’s, the winds were 0 to 15 MPH with higher gusts over the peaks and ridges, snowing everywhere.
