Fatboys and Longboards again today! A Great Powder Day

SOME LATE STARTS POSSIBLE TODAY

SQUAW VALLEY USA EL 6200 will operate the Cable Car and Funitel plus 10 lifts; EL 8200 has 16 lifts. Night Skiing with the Cable Car and 2 lifts, the Mountain Run is open. Squaw Valley has received a trace of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 12 lifts for today, the wind on top is 65 MPH from the SSW; they received 4 to 6” of new snow.

KIRKWOOD RECEIVED 2 TO 4” of new snow and they are planning on running 12 lifts; XC area has 65 K of Machine groomed track.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 25 lifts scheduled for today, they received 15” of new snow.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts for today.

SUGAR BOWL received 4 to 8” of new snow, and will operate the Gondola plus 10 lifts.

HEAVENLY Operating the Gondola and Cable Car with 9 lifts on the California side, The Nevada Side has 12 lifts. They received new snow fall of a trace to 1”.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT should operate 8 lifts for day skiing and 2 for Night; they received 4 to 6” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS received 4 to 6” of new snow operating 5 lifts.

MT. ROSE 7 lifts in operation today, new snow fall of 14 to 19”.

NORTHSTAR is planning on operating 17 lifts for today; XC has 30 K of Machine Groomed track. They received 5 to 7” of fresh snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE is planning on 12 lifts for today.

TAHOE DONNER did receive 4 to 6” of new snow, lift operation should be 3, and XC has 39 trails with 82K of Machine Groomed Track.

DIAMOND PEAK 6 lifts for today; with 6” of new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT lift operation should be 6; they received 2 to 3” of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE XC 30 trails with 50 K of Machine Groomed Track.

DONNER SKI RANCH 7 lifts for today; they did receive 4 to 6” of fresh powder.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions were fresh powder, broken powder, machine groomed, and skier packed powder. There are obstacles both marked and unmarked... We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures range from the mid 20’s to the low 30’s; the winds were 15 to 45 MPH with higher gusts; and snowing in some of the areas.
