Pray for new snow

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 will operate the Cable Car, Funitel plus 10 lifts; El 8200 has 13 lifts. Night Skiing with the Cable Car and 2 lifts, the Mountain run is open.

ALPINE MEADOWS 12 lifts for today the winds at the mid and upper were as high as 23 MPH.

KIRKWOOD received 1 to 2” of new and they are planning on running 12 lifts; the X/C area has 65K of M/G track.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 10”of new snow, lift operation should be 24 for today.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts they received 3” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL will operate the Gondola and 8 lifts.

HEAVENLY they will operate The Gondola and Tram on the California side along with 8 lifts. The Nevada side has 11 lifts. They received a trace to 1” of new snow.

BOREAL should operate 8 lifts for day skiing, 2 for night skiing tonight. They received a trace of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS received a trace of new snow and is operating 5 lifts plus the mini snowmobiles for today.

MT ROSE 7 lifts in operation for today. They received 2 to 3” of new snow.

NORTHSTAR 17 lifts in operation; cross country has 30 K of Machine Groomed track open. They received 1/2 to 1” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE received 11/12” of new snow; they are planning on 11 lifts today.

TAHOE DONNER operating 3 lift in today, Cross Country 38 trails with 78 K of machine groomed track. They received 1 to 3” of new snow.

DIAMOND PEAK did receive a trace of new snow, with 4 lifts scheduled for today.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT lift operation today should be 6; they received 1 to 2” of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE X/C 20 trails 57K of M/G track.

DONNER SKI RANCH 6 lifts scheduled for today.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions some fresh powder, broken powder, machine groomed powder, and skier packed powder. There are obstacles both marked and unmarked. We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures are in the low 20’s; the winds were 5 to 20 MPH with higher gusts depending where you are.
