It's still snowing

SOME LATE STARTS POSSIBLE TODAY

SQUAW VALLEY USA EL 6200 will operate the Cable Car and Funitel plus 9 lifts; EL 8200 has 13 lifts. Night Skiing with the Cable Car and 2 lifts, the Mountain Run is open. Squaw Valley has received 6 to 8” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 12 lifts for today; they received 15 to 20” of new snow. The wind on top was 45MPH from the SW.

KIRKWOOD RECEIVED 24 to 28” of new snow and they are planning on running 7 lifts with 6 more on hold; XC area has 65 K of Machine groomed track.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts scheduled for today, they received 11 to 16” of new snow.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts for today; June did receive 27” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL received 11 to 16” of new snow, and will operate the Gondola plus 9 lifts.

HEAVENLY was missing this morning.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT should operate 8 lifts for day skiing and 2 for Night; they received 13 to 20” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS received 13 to 20” of new snow operating 5 lifts.

MT. ROSE 4 lifts in operation today with 3 additional lifts on delay; new snow received 3 to 5”.

NORTHSTAR is planning on operating 17 lifts for today; XC has 30 K of Machine Groomed track. They received 5 to 8” of fresh snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE is planning on 7 lifts for today. Sierra did receive 10 to 14” of new snow.

TAHOE DONNER did receive 6 to 13” of new snow, lift operation should be 3, and XC has 41 trails with 87 K of Machine Groomed Track.

DIAMOND PEAK 6 lifts for today; with 4” of new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT lift operation should be 6; they received 1” of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE XC 31 trails with 75 K of Machine Groomed Track.

DONNER SKI RANCH 6 lifts for today; they did receive 10 to 18” of fresh powder.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions were fresh powder, broken powder, machine groomed, and skier packed powder. We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures range from the mid teens to the low 30’s; the winds were 15 to 25 MPH with higher gusts; and snowing in some of the areas.
