It's still snowing with more to come

SQUAW VALLEY USA El 6200 will operate the Cable Car, Funitel plus 6 lifts; El 8200 has 11 lifts. Night Skiing with the Cable Car and 2 lifts, the Mountain run is open. Squaw Valley has received a trace of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS 10 lifts for today. Base winds were 28 MPH, on top 56 MPH from the SW.

KIRKWOOD received 2 to 4” of new and they are planning on running 11 lifts; the X/C area has 65K of M/G track.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN 24 lifts scheduled for today, they have received 1” of new snow.

JUNE MOUNTAIN 6 lifts running today, with 1” of new snow.

SUGAR BOWL received 2 to 4” of new snow, and will operate the Gondola and 8 lifts.

HEAVENLY they will operate The Gondola and Tram on the California side along with 8 lifts. The Nevada side has 11 lifts. Their new snowfall was 2 to 4”.

BOREAL should operate 8 lifts for day skiing, 2 for night skiing tonight. They received 2 to 4” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS received 2 to 4” of new snow and is operating 5 lifts plus the mini snowmobiles for today.

MT ROSE 5 lifts in operation for today, with a trace of new snow.

NORTHSTAR is planning on operating 14 lifts today; cross country area has 30K of track. Northstar did receive 2 to 4” of fresh Powder.

SIERRA AT TAHOE they are planning on 6 lifts today with a trace of new snow.

TAHOE DONNER received 2 to 4” of new snow, and should operate 3 lift in today, Cross Country has 38 trails with 78 K of Machine groomed track.

DIAMOND PEAK 4 lifts scheduled for today.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT lift operation today should be 6. They received 4 to 7” of new snow.

ROYAL GORGE X/C 37 trails 104 K of M/G track.

DONNER SKI RANCH 5 lifts scheduled for today. They have received 2 to 4” of fresh powder.

ALL LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY! Surface conditions fresh powder, broken powder, machine groomed powder, and skier packed powder. There are obstacles both marked and unmarked. We ask you to please be aware ride and ski with care.

Today’s weather was taken between 4 AM and 6:00 AM and is subject to change. The temperatures range from the mid teens to the low 20’s; the winds were 15 to 25 MPH with higher gusts.
