SQUAW VALLEY EL 6200 will be operating the Tram Funitel and 10,
they received 8” of new snow at EL 8200 10 lifts, and 3 parks.
ALPINE MEADOWS is open with 11 lifts, and 3 parks. Alpine did receive 6” of fresh powder.
MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN
should have 27 lifts in operation today.
It was snowing when the report came in, they did receive 7” of new snow.
SUGAR BOWL gondola plus 7 lifts running along with two open
parks. Sugar Bowl did receive 11 to 16”
of new powder.
ROYAL GORGE CROSS COUNTRY has 30K of m/g track for your
enjoyment, with 16” of new snow.
HEAVENLY access via the Gondola, Tram, with 20 lifts scheduled
today. Heavenly did receive 2” of new snow.
KIRKWOOD all lifts
on wind hold. Their cross country area
is open with 40K of m/g track. The winds were 50MPH call for an update 1 800 KIRKWOOD.
BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT 6 lifts for day skiing and 2 lift for
night till 9 PM. They have one park open. The tubing park is
open from 10AM until 8PM. Both Boreal and Soda Springs did receive
12 to 16” of new snow.
SODA SPRINGS 2 lifts for skiing and 3 lifts for tubing.
MT ROSE lift operation today should be 5 lifts today; they
did receive 12 to 15” of new snow.
NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE 11 lifts three parks in operation today,
X/C 35K of M/G track.
SIERRA AT TAHOE 7” of new snow with 7 lifts in operation
today, and 3 parks.
TAHOE DONNER is scheduled with 3 lifts and 1XC trail.
DIAMOND PEAK
is open today with top to bottom skiing, they will operate 4 lifts.
HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT will operate 3 lift.
DONNER SKI RANCH should operate 5 lifts for today.
THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30
AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER
AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS CLOUDY AND SNOWING AT MOST OF THE AREAS. TEMPRATURES
WERE IN THE MID TEEN’S TO THE LOW 30’S. THE WIND WERE 10 TO 25 MPH, WITH HIGHER
GUSTS OVER THE PEAKS AND RIDES. AREAS
WITH SNOW MAKING ARE MAKING SNOW WHEN EVER POSSIBLE. THE SURFACE CONDITION SOME
FRESH POWDER, M/G, AND SKIER PACKED POWDER. THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED,
