Squaw and Alpine Gold Passholders Now to Receive Two Free Days at Whistler Blackcomb and $25 Off Additional Lift Tickets

[Olympic Valley and Alpine Meadows, Calif.] December 6, 2012 – Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ season pass benefits just keep getting better. Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows have announced that they will offer Gold season passholders two free lift tickets and $25 CAD off additional lift tickets to Whistler Blackcomb. While the benefits at Whistler Blackcomb are valid any day of the winter season starting on December 15, the current discounted price on a Gold Tahoe Super Pass Plus is only guaranteed through December 7.

This new season pass perk for Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows’ Gold passholders is the latest in a long string of newly added benefits for season passholders. In August, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows announced that Gold passholders would receive 50% off lift tickets at Jackson Hole, Alta and Aspen/Snowmass as part of the resorts’ Mountain Collective partnership. Then in November, Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows announced that they would be partnering with Sierra-at-Tahoe Resort to offer both Gold and Silver passholders free skiing and riding Sunday through Friday (non-holiday) at the South Lake Tahoe resort. Each of these added benefits came at no cost to passholders.

Skiers and riders who would like to enjoy two free days at Whistler Blackcomb in addition to unlimited season-long access to Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows have until midnight on Friday, December 7 to purchase a Gold Tahoe Super Pass Plus. Those who purchased a Bronze or Silver Tahoe Super Pass but would like to receive the new benefits at Whistler Blackcomb can upgrade to a Gold pass for the price difference at the time of purchase. Currently priced at $749 through December 7, the Gold Tahoe Super Pass Plus offers unlimited access to Squaw and Alpine, mid-week access to Sierra-at-Tahoe, 50% off lift tickets to Jackson Hole, Alta and Aspen/Snowmass, and now two free lift tickets to Whistler Blackcomb and $25 off lift tickets thereafter. Season pass prices are slated to go up as much as $100 after December 7.
