AND THE SNOW CONTINUES

SQUAW VALLEY scheduled the Tram, Funitel, 7 chair lifts, 4 surface lifts at EL 6200, at EL 8200 10 lifts, Ice Skating, Fine Dinning and shopping also available. Squaw Valley did received 2 to 4” of new snow.

ALPINE MEADOWS has 8 lifts planned for today along with 2 parks. They did receive 7 to 7” of new snow.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN with 24 lifts scheduled for today. Four parks and their Olympic size 1/2 pipe in operation. Mammoth Mountain did receive 6” of fresh snow.

SUGAR BOWL should have 6 lifts in operation; they have 2 parks open. They did receive 4 to 6” of new snow.

HEAVENLY will operate 21 out of 30 lifts on both the California Side and the Nevada Side, along with 4 parks available. Heavenly did receive 8” of fresh powder.

KIRKWOOD they should operate 10 lifts today, with 3 parks available. The cross country center is open with 65 K. Kirkwood did receive 6 to 8” of fresh snow.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT is planning to have 4 lifts for day and 2 for night skiing. Boreal did receive 5 to 8” of new snow.

SODA SPRINGS is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.

MT ROSE has scheduled 4 lifts for today. They did receive 4 to 6” of fresh powder.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE is operating 4 parks, their super pipe is closed, 15 lifts in operation, the Ice Rink is open from 12 noon to 8 PM, Cross Country and Telemark Center are open with 19 trails and 35K of track. Super Pipe is closed; they did receive 4 to 6” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 6 lifts running today, along with 4 parks. Sierra @ Tahoe did receive 6” of new snow.

TAHOE DONNER is operating with 4 lifts; the XC area is open with 23 trails and 43K of track set. They did receive 3 to 5” of fresh powder.

DIAMOND PEAK is planning on 5 lifts in operation, and 2 parks. Diamond Peak did receive 2 to 3” new snow.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT is open with 5 lifts with 1 park they did receive 3 to 5” of fresh snow.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS CLOUDY WITH SNOW SHOWERS EXPECTED TO CLEAR THIS MORNING, TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE LOW TEENS; WINDS 15 MPH TO 25 MPH WINDS, THE PEAKS AND RIDGES HAVE SOME HIGHER GUSTS. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS MACHINE GROOMED FRESH POWDER, SKIER PACKED POWDER. THEY WILL BE GROOMING WATCH OUT FOR EQUIPMENT AT WORK. THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED. IF YOU GO OUT OF BOUNDS, THERE IS AN AVALANCH DANGER, HAVE THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT WITH YOU. WE ASK YOU TO BE AWARE RIDE AND SKI WITH CARE.
