– This winter, skiers and riders can take their mountain experience to the next level with a little help from the pros. Squaw Valley’s Snowsports School offers a wide range of specialty clinics in addition to group and private lessons. With more snow in the forecast, now is the time to tackle the mountain in ways you never dreamed you could!

Women of Winter Sessions
For Women who LOVE TO SKI! Take your skiing to the next level, fine tune your skills and ski Squaw's legendary terrain like you own it with the Women of Winter. Designed for strong intermediate to expert abilities, these programs provide a fun and supportive environment to develop new skills, build confidence and, of course, laugh a lot with good friends. Price: $69 for Wednesday or Saturday sessions. More details.

Chutes & Hikes
The Chutes and Hikes clinic helps the advanced and expert skier and rider get the most out of Squaw’s legendary expert terrain. Access and conquer the steep lines and drops Squaw is famous for. Find the best snow conditions and “secret” lines only the locals know. Using a high energy tactical approach, skiers and riders are encouraged to learn through self-discovery in a fast-paced environment. Price $89. Available for ages 13 and up every Monday starting January 23 through March 26, 2012. More details.

Squallywood Big Mountain Camp
Get your own guided tour to the lines that have made Squaw Valley famous on this two-day camp. Guest coach Robb Gaffney, professional freeskier and author of the book Squallywood, and our handpicked crew of guides will help advanced and expert skiers and riders get the most out of Squaw's legendary terrain. Includes two days of all-day guiding and coaching, video highlights available for purchase (weather permitting), lunch voucher, and a copy of the book Squallywood. Price: $448. Vintage Squaw
For skiers 55+, Vintage Squaw incorporates quality skiing and instruction with group camaraderie. All tasks and activities will be selected and paced based on your needs. Whether you've been skiing all your life or came late to the sport our instructors will help you adopt the technique that's right for you and the gear you are using. Price: $69. For adults 55 and older on Thursdays throughout the season from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., with coffee and tea starting at 8:30 a.m. More details.

Gates to Skills
This all day program uses gate training as an effective means to enhance, strengthen and hone ski skills and is excellent at improving confidence in tackling all terrain and conditions. The clinic features coaching in technical freeskiing, slalom and giant slalom gate skiing as well as video analysis and dryland exercises. Also shared are ski and boot tuning tips for greater performance. Price: $189. For ages 13 and up on select Fridays throughout the season from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. More details.

Tuesday Tips
Get a free taste of how expert instruction will enhance your mountain experience with our free Tuesday Tips clinic. We'll show you skill-building exercises that will make skiing and riding easier and more fun. Then we'll explore the terrain that is best suited for your ability level. Price: Free. For ages 13 and up every Tuesday from January 3 through March 27, 2012 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. More details.

Rider's Camp
Participants will have breakthrough progression at the two-day Rider’s Camp built on a freestyle platform. Whether you're learning your first 50/50 on a box or dialing a back flip, our coaches will break tricks down into the steps necessary to stomp that landing. Lunch vouchers are included for a hassle free recharge that keeps you close to the terrain. Price: 499. Beginner Packages


Learn to Ski & Ride Progression Package
This three-day progression package includes lift tickets, rental equipment and beginner lesson for any three days throughout the 2011-12 season for $289. Those who have already taken a first time lesson or participated in a learn to ski and ride day can upgrade to the 3-day progression package and enjoy the remaining two days for just $130. First-Timer Package
Learn the basics of turning, stopping and riding lifts at a comfortable pace. Expand skills and gain confidence as you explore Squaw's extensive beginner area, featuring our progressive balance-building terrain gardens. Enjoy newfound camaraderie and feelings of accomplishment as you experience the freedom of gliding.

Adult Group Lesson
Open to skiers and riders of all abilities, sessions are offered in 5 levels to match every skier's or rider's needs, and can include skills from managing turns and speeds to mastering moguls, powder and steeps. Price: $139.
