SQUAW VALLEY operation for today includes at EL 6200 the Tram, and 8 lifts, along with 4 surface lifts. EL 8200 is open with 9 lifts, dinning, shopping and Ice Skating. They did receive 1 to 2” of new snow over night.

ALPINE MEADOWS did they are planning on 9 lifts in operation. They now have 2 parks open.

MAMMOUTH MOUNTAIN with 23 lifts scheduled for today. Four parks and their Olympic size 1/2 pipe in operation.

SUGAR BOWL should have 6 lifts in operation; they did receive 1 to 2” of fresh snow. Sugar Bowl does have 2 parks open.

HEAVENLY California Base lodge now offers the Tram, Gondola and 9 lifts operating on the Nevada side 11 lifts. They now have 4 freestyle parks available.

KIRKWOOD they should operate 10 lifts today. The cross country center is open with 45 K.

BOREAL MOUNTAIN RESORT did receive 1 to 3” of new snow. They have 4 lifts for day and 2 for night skiing.

SODA SPRINGS will be closed today; they did receive 1 to 3” of new snow.

MT ROSE has scheduled 4 lifts for today. The winds were blustery 20 to 25 MPH at the base with higher winds as you go up the mountain.

NORTHSTAR AT TAHOE is operating 3 parks, their super pipe is open, 16 lifts in operation, the Ice Rink is open from 12 noon to 8 PM, Cross Country and Telemark Center are open with 10 trails and 33K of track. They did receive 1 to 2” of new snow.

SIERRA AT TAHOE has 8 chair lifts running today, along with 2 parks.

TAHOE DONNER is operating with 4 lifts; the XC area is open with 22 trails and 42K of track set.

DIAMOND PEAK they did receive 1 to 2” of fresh snow. They are planning on 5 lifts in operation, and 2 parks.

HOMEWOOD MOUNTAIN RESORT is open with 4 lifts with top to bottom skiing. They did receive 1 to 2” of new snow.

THE WEATHER WAS TAKEN BETWEEN 4:30 AM AND 6 AM AND IS SUBJECT TO CHANGE. LIFT OPERATIONS ARE SUBJECT TO WIND WEATHER AND SNOW SAFETY. THE WEATHER WAS MOSTLY CLOUDY WITH SNOW EXPECTED THRU 10 AM. TEMPRATURES WERE IN THE LOW 20’S TO THE LOW 30’S; WINDS 5 MPH TO 15 MPH WINDS, THE PEAKS AND RIDGES HAVE HIGHER GUSTS. THE SURFACE CONDITIONS FRESH SNOW MACHINE GROOMED SKIER PACKED POWDER AND FIRM PACK POWDER SOFTENING WITH RAISING TEMPRATURES. THERE ARE OBSTICLES BOTH MARKED AND UNMARKED.
