Mountain Romance: Celebrate This Valentine’s Day at Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows

Mountaintop Valentine’s Day Dinner Package

This Valentine’s Day, take your sweetheart up Squaw Valley’s aerial tram to High Camp, elevation 8,200 feet and enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding snowcapped peaks of Squaw Valley while you dine. The dinner package includes a rose for the lady and sparkling cider on the tram ride up the mountain. Once at High Camp, guests will enjoy a delectable three-course meal complete with a glass of wine while a live pianist sets a romantic mood. Valentine’s Day Lodging Package at The Village at Squaw Valley

The Village at Squaw Valley is celebrating Valentine’s Day this winter by offering a Valentine’s Day Romance Package including $110 dollars off Village lodging and a couple’s message. Staring at just $249 for a standard room or $269 per night for a one-bedroom condominium suite, couples can book a room in the heart of Squaw Valley with a couple’s massage at Trilogy Spa and champagne and chocolates upon arrival included. On-Mountain Valentine’s Fun at Squaw Valley

In the spirit of love, “I Love Squaw” pins will be handed out at the base of the mountain on Saturday, Feb. 11, Sunday, Feb. 12 and Tuesday, Feb. 14. Looking for a soul mate? Be sure to line up in the singles line at KT to find your like-minded match. Or play a game of Meet your Match, Saturday, Feb. 11 and Sunday, Feb. 12, for a chance to find love or win discounted drinks. Grab a numbered sticker from a guest services team member and if you find someone with that same number, bring them to the KT Base Bar to get two drinks for $2 each.

A special on-mountain Valentine’s Day Scavenger Hunt, Saturday, Feb. 11, will reward the best hunters with little heart bags containing Valentine’s Day candy and a few lucky scavengers might even find special coupons for discounts and great prizes.

Wildflour Baking Company located at the Olympic House will be serving heart-shaped poem cookies with a Valentine’s Day poem scripted on it for your sweetheart, available Feb 11-14. They will also be conducting a poetry contest and the best poet will be awarded a Wildflour cookie pass.


Celebrate Valentine’s Day at Alpine Meadows, Feb. 11

Love is in the air at Alpine. Join us for a day of love-filled celebrations on Saturday, Feb. 11. Play a game of Meet your Match for a chance to find love and win discounted drinks. Grab a numbered sticker from a guest services team member and if you find someone with the same number bring them to the Last Chair Bar to get two drinks for just $2 each.

Grab your loved one or find a new special friend at our Valentine's Day Bash featuring DJ Zeb Early. Dance-offs, drink specials and a chance to meet “the one” are just a few of the highlights of this party. As evidence of your love, we will be handing out “I Love Alpine” pins throughout the day and at the party. Depending on weather, this party will either be hosted on the Sun Deck or in the Last Chair Bar from 2 p.m.-5 p.m.
